Communications Trainee

This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in communications, including branding, events, and administrative tasks. As a trainee, you will assist with various aspects of internal and external communications, contributing to the success of our team’s initiatives and campaigns.

Job purpose:

Administrative Support
  • Manage schedules, contact lists, and departmental communications.
  • Maintain records and assist in preparing reports and presentations.
  • Respond to routine inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
Event Coordination
  • Help plan and execute events, including logistical support, vendor coordination, and post-event reporting.
  • Draft event communication materials, such as invitations and programs.
  • Attend events to provide on-site support as needed.

If you have/are:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Previous internship or volunteer experience in communications, branding, or event management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Eager to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Creative thinker with a proactive attitude.
  • Fluent in English and French preferred.
