Job Purpose

The Chief of Staff serves as the primary strategic partner and advisor to the CEO and CFO and other members of the Executive Board if needed (CSO). Their mission is to optimize operational efficiency, drive strategic decision-making and implementation of organizational goals and initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • External Strategy
    • Support the CEO and CFO in preparation of specific materials for Corporate Decks, BoD decks, conference materials etc.
    • Support the BD area
    • Support special projects as needed
  • Data Strategy
    • Ensure all data for new trials is properly collected in coordination with key areas
    • Responsible to analyze the data as it comes in coordination with key areas
    • Drive creation of new hypothesis to test (incl. in coordination with the Data Scientists in the Commercial team)
    • Assemble, synthesize and prepare documentation
    • As needed and applicable, prepare data visualisation approaches for the above (using PowerBI)
Your profile

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management or Sciences; PhD and/or MBA is a plus

Experience:

  • 2-5+ years of experience in Consultancy, Pharmaceutical, Biotech industry or other relevant areas
  • Proven experience in similar roles in fast-paced environments
  • Understanding and/or experience of working within/with Corporate and Clinical Development functional areas

Skills/knowledge/behavioural competencies:

  • Experience in scientific and clinical data review and interpretation
  • Adaptable with the ability to generate creative solutions, identify different and novel ways to find solutions, and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, interpersonal, relationship-building, and negotiating communication skills
  • Organised, attention to detail and ability to meet timelines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and effectively prioritise workload
  • Highly collaborative, strong relationship building skills with internal and external partners, with a high level of integrity
  • Works proactively using solid communication and influencing skills to effectively execute program goals
  • Works effectively in a highly complex and fast-paced environment

Work Location:

  • 2 days a week in our office in Zug, Cambridge or Porto
