How can you make a difference?

Individual Giving has just launched a new and ambitious strategic approach, IGNITE, a brand that represents the Global Individual Giving Community and that will deep dive into how Learning Agility is incorporated as a framework in the current IG transformational journey to Agile.

We build on the great opportunity that bringing Knowledge Management and Capacity Building to the next level presents, and how adding the Learning Agility approach we can better and more effectively operationalize the IG strategy.

We need your support to deploy the 4 agile programs we have drafted for IGNITE that apply to Learning, Community, Talent, and Productivity. We need your help delivering the below tasks:

  • Support our day to day by providing assistance and support to any of the initiatives launched for our new cultural framework (organizing events, workshops, resources, webinars, curating content)
  • Compiling data and insights for reporting around IGNITE performance
  • Keep our platforms relevant and updated under the guidance of the program lead (Resource Centres, Sites, etc)
  • Support Community Management of our Communities of Practice, when needed.
  • Reviewing our current e-learning offer in Agora, our internal training platform.
  • Updating contents in Agora when needed, getting the required support from team members.
  • Completing the admin requirements of our education monthly newsletter
  • Support our Email Marketing expert build emails or design community experiences
  • Other tasks that will be drafted as we move forward with our strategy.

Modality: Paid - Full time

Duration: 6 months

Reporting: The intern will be based remotely and will report to the Talent and Knowledge Management Specialist.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have:

  • Be enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or Ph.D. degree programme or have graduated within the past two years, in Marketing, Fundraising, Communication, Political Sciences or related field.
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
  • Be resourceful in overcoming obstacles, taking the initiative to explore new ideas, and proactively identifying areas for growth and improvement.
  • Be naturally proactive and take ownership of your work, being able to set goals and develop action plans
  • Be comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Have a strong focus on achieving results
  • Be interested in the social sector and UNICEF mission
  • Developing country work experience or volunteering is considered an asset.
  • Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another UN language considered as an asset.
  • Have excellent academic performance as demonstrated by recent university or institution records.
  • Have no immediate relatives (e.g. father, mother, brother, sister) working in any UNICEF office; and have no other relatives in the line of authority that the intern will report to.
