Communications Account and Project Manager (100%)

The Bloc Switzerland, a full-service communications agency specializing in the pharmaceutical and healthcare market with over 25 years of experience, is seeking a passionate and skilled Communications Account and Project Manager (m/f/d).

In this role, you will serve as the critical link between clients and our creative teams, overseeing the successful delivery of communication projects from start to finish. Your primary focus will be on managing timelines, budgets, and resources while ensuring the quality and strategic alignment of all deliverables. With an eye for detail and a knack for problem-solving, you will ensure that projects meet client expectations and achieve outstanding results.

Your Role

  • Collaborate with clients to understand project briefs, working with The Bloc’s expert team (e.g., Head of Digital, Head of Creativity) to ensure the brief is accurately translated into actionable plans.
  • Develop and present cost estimates for client approval, ensuring clear communication of project scope.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee the execution of communication projects, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Coordinate internal teams, assigning roles and responsibilities, and ensuring smooth workflow throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Review all communication outputs internally to ensure alignment with client objectives before delivery.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, collecting feedback, addressing concerns, and ensuring timely implementation of revisions.
  • Monitor project budgets, tracking costs to avoid overruns, and manage invoicing processes.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients to strengthen relationships, identify opportunities for additional projects, and present new service offerings.

Your Profile

  • Min. 5 years of experience in project management within an advertising or communications agency (experience in pharmaceutical communication is a plus).
  • A university-level qualification in communication/marketing (FH, Uni, SAWI, or similar).
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, organizing, and budget tracking.
  • A deep affinity for digital projects and familiarity with digital tools and platforms.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken, in German and English.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with a structured, reliable, and quality-focused approach.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage, inspire, and collaborate effectively.
