What will you be doing as an assistant to a board member?
  • Provide administrative support with a high degree of independent decision making to drive initiatives forward
  • Assist with agendas, reports, consolidating presentations, action items and sending follow-up communications
  • Obtain signatures, organize shipping and follow-up on business contracts in a timely manner
  • Coordinate and schedule cross-functional business meetings of senior management, internal colleagues and external partners
  • Develop and maintain highly useful administrative systems, reports and formats
  • Responsible for the organization and execution of an international business meeting (requirement: travel abroad twice a year for about 4 days)
Who are you?
  • Commercial Degree
  • Minimum 3 plus years of related professional experience supporting senior-level management
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communications skills within the organization and with external partners
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Ability to multitask and flexibility with work assignments
  • Must be able to travel locally and worldwide for up to one week twice per year
The International Business Unit Department
  • The International Business Unit department (IBU) is divided into three Business Units: IBU Haematology, IBU Critical Care and IBU Immunotherapy plus an IBU Project Management team
  • The overall responsibility of the IBU department is to ensure long-term strategic development by enabling intelligent business decisions
  • We specialize in global medical marketing, strategic and business development, as well as pipeline project management
  • The department consists of 25 people and you will support the Board Member (Head of Octapharma's International Business Units)
