Job Description:

The Trainee is responsible for supporting the Project Manager and the Project Director in the execution of large investment projects in Visp throughout the implementation of the project, from the design phases to the handover of the installations to the users.

In this role, you will put in place and maintain strong structures (e.g., organization, decision, communication, documentation flows) in accordance with project management to respect SGIE Project management Processes and increase Project Team efficiency.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for internal coordination of project tasks to relieve CAPEX project manager workload.
  2. Be responsible for specific tasks of the project (e.g., small package of equipment, workshops responsibilities, reporting to management) to support Project Manager or Team.
  3. Participate in the preparation of the project reporting (charts for KPIs, collection of information).
  4. Develop and maintain Project SharePoint to establish strong processes for administrative aspects of the project (communication center for internal team and external partners, meeting minutes, actions list, etc.).
  5. Organize internal as well as external workshops (technical, scheduling coordination) and support team members to establish agendas, meeting minutes, actions lists, etc.
  6. Participate and support regulatory inspections and customer audits.
  7. Coordinate Technical Change Request tasks/activities considering all the stakeholders in the project timelines.

Key requirements:

  1. Dipl. Ing. / M. Sc. / B. Sc. in the field of project management or engineering or Mechanical or Chemical or related field.
  2. Technical knowledge in chemical and/or pharmaceutical engineering is a plus.
  3. Experience in SharePoint or website management.
  4. Experience in cGMP environment is a plus.
