We are now looking for a Global Account Manager (based in Zuchwil, Switzerland at Schaerer) to join our Global Accounts Team within our Business Unit SEB Professional.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Monitor, collect, and share information on global trends, market changes, customer potential and risks, and develop and implement action plans based on these insights.
  • Formulate and execute Key Account Plans (KAP) to promote business development with your accounts.
  • Oversee and manage business activities with your accounts (e.g. regarding pricing, contract negotiations, specifications, delivery conditions or service level agreements).
  • Drive sales growth and identify opportunities for new business development.
  • Independently handle customer complaints, involving internal departments as necessary.
  • Conduct independent negotiations, aligning with management on matters of significant importance.
  • Manage and coordinate product and innovation projects with partner customers and product management teams.

PROFILE:

  • Several years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a B2B context (coffee industry experience with an understanding of the industry, market trends and competitive landscape is a big plus).
  • Proven ability to build, maintain and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Exceptionally effective communication and negotiation skills with demonstrated success in surpassing sales targets and KPIs.
  • Highly self-motivated and proactive.
  • Leadership competencies (previous management experience is a plus).
  • Fluent in English (any other languages, especially German and/or French, are a plus).
