Your Responsibility
  • Lead and continuous development of the Claims function across the entire Helvetia Group to drive group-wide claims excellence
  • Oversight of local claims strategy development and implementation, ambition setting, implementation of measures and its tracking
  • Define and implement best practice by showing functional leadership
  • Foster international knowledge exchange and collaboration to deliver claims strategy
  • Monitoring, analysis and optimization of claims performance and insights across market units
  • Observation and analysis of trends, innovations and (technical) developments relevant for claims
  • Management of the interfaces to and collaboration with the market units and the group functions
  • Development and management of a small international team of specialists

Your Qualification
  • Many years of experience in different claims functions in Non-Life direct insurance
  • Wide international experience in process, project and change management, mainly in the claims area
  • Customer-, service- and performance-oriented personality with strong strategic and organizational skills
  • Established and inspiring leader with proven leadership experience, intercultural skills and innovative mindset
  • Experienced in stakeholder management, skilled in building relationships and collaborating with people at different levels and countries, including ability to develop and mentor people
  • Willingness to travel within Europe up to 25%
  • Languages: English and German, Spanish, Italian and/or French are an advantage
