Distribution - CEMEAPurpose
Sales and Distribution of the overall GAM Investments product offering towards Wholesale clients and prospects with specific focus on independent wealth managers and family offices in the French speaking part of Switzerland
Main Duties & ResponsibilitiesDeveloping and driving acquisition efforts using both a network of own existing contacts as well as a systematic market approach
Preparation of acquisition and retention activities, periodic client reports, handling of client requests and other administrative tasks relating to the Sales function represent an integral part of this job profile
Become fluent in GAM's strategy range, and be able to represent both traditional and alternative strategies to sophisticated investors
Develop and execute a sales plan for your region and directly contribute to growth targets of the Swiss Distribution Team
University degree or equivalent
5 – 10 years of experience in the asset management or financial services industry with deep knowledge of the Wholesale distribution business in Switzerland
5 – 10 years of sales activities with a proven record of active client management spanning client acquisition and relationship development
Providing a network of client contacts in the designated market segments with specific focus on the French speaking part of Switzerland
Good knowledge of the financial markets, market trends, investment instruments and regulatory environment
Excellent French & English knowledge (spoken and written), German would be a great asset
High degree of professional ethics, integrity and sound business judgement. Ability to foster effective and trusted relationships with all stakeholders
Excellent negotiation and analytical skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
A 'hands-on' work style in a fast-paced and demanding environment
Intuitive – ability to identify issues and resolve them in a commercial and effective manner
Confident and capable of interacting with a forward-thinking senior management team
Strong team player with an open and constructive style
Excellent attention to detail, client oriented and well organised.

Able to quickly understand GAM's methodology and business operations
