Position Summary:

The Sr Director, Marketing Hub, EMEA (Europe Middle East and Africa) will be responsible for building and leading a centralized marketing and content hub to support commercial activities across multiple brands within the EMEA region. This role encompasses the development of the EMEA marketing strategy and flawless execution of content and tools tailored to diverse markets including those managed by distributor partners.

Work Model:

Flex: This role will typically require onsite work 2-3 days each week, or more depending on business needs. In many locations, the business will set certain days each week that Flex employees are required to be onsite.

Responsibilities:

Requires exceptional cross-functional collaboration with cluster General Managers (GMs), local field teams, global and digital marketing, brand teams, field excellence and training, business operations and IT. A strong emphasis on innovation, patient-finding strategies, messaging, product positioning, and leveraging digital platforms will be critical to success.

  • Build and lead the EMEA Marketing Hub, establishing a team dedicated to developing and managing all marketing content and tools for multiple brands.
  • Work closely with all the EMEA launch leads to develop content that works in the pre-launch and launch phases of a product life cycle.
  • Ensure all content complies with local regulatory, cultural, and compliance requirements across the region.
  • Lead the development of marketing strategies for the EMEA region, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and local market dynamics.
  • Lead strategic projects & development of global Brand segmentation and positioning, prepare market maps if required.
  • Lead the regional brand planning process and optimally align with Global.

Analytics and Awareness Generation:

  • Define innovative patient-finding strategies and implement targeted campaigns to identify and engage underserved patient populations.
  • Drive effective messaging and product positioning for diverse audiences, including healthcare professionals, payers, and patients.
  • Collaborate with Global Commercial Leads and EMEA business analytics to track and manage competitive.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with cluster GMs, Head of field excellence and training, field teams, global brand teams, and digital marketing to ensure cohesive strategies and consistent execution.
  • Collaborate with regional medical on all disease awareness content creation and engagement materials.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Compliance and IT to integrate digital tools, analytics, and platforms into marketing strategies to enhance reach and engagement.

Execution and Innovation:

  • Drive the flawless execution of marketing initiatives, share best practices to create synergies and Centers of Excellence. Manage budgets and 3rd party collaborations.
  • Foster a culture of innovation by integrating digital solutions, leveraging data insights, and adopting new marketing trends to enhance campaign effectiveness.

Performance Measurement and Optimization:

  • Establish and track KPIs to measure the effectiveness of marketing content, tools, and strategies. Ensure efficient budget allocation and resource optimization to maximize impact.

Leadership, Organizational Development and Management:

  • Build over time a high-performing marketing content hub with internal and external resources.
  • Design and implement processes that support regional and local commercial excellence and enable local country teams to optimally leverage and pull through content.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, development and accountability to deliver on organizational goals.
Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is required.
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MSc) is preferred.

Experience:

  • 10+ years of marketing experience within the biopharmaceutical, healthcare, or related industries, with a focus on EMEA markets.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and developing marketing strategies across multiple brands in Rare Disease.
  • Track record of leveraging digital tools and innovative approaches to enhance marketing effectiveness.
  • Experience working with Legal, Compliance, IT and integrating digital platforms into marketing and field commercial operations.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Deep understanding of EMEA healthcare systems, regulatory environments, and market access dynamics.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with experience managing high-performing teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking and executional capabilities, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools, CRM platforms, and data analytics.
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English; knowledge of additional EMEA languages is a plus.

Additional Information:

  • Travel: Up to 30% across EMEA.
