Global Supply Chain Drop-Shipping Agent (m/f/d)

Background

As an integral part of the Global Supply Chain in Rotkreuz, the OEM Global Planning department is crucial in ensuring the timely delivery of essential healthcare products to individuals around the world. Within this department, the Finished Goods Drop-Shipment Process team is responsible for providing drop-shipment services globally. We are the first point of contact for any drop-shipment inquiries. We support our Global Planning team and many other cross stream functions. We support and implement comprehensive end-to-end (E2E) processes while ensuring the business runs smoothly.

The perfect candidate

The ideal candidate holds a commercial degree with logistics, purchasing or import & export background. This person has a strong track record of working with cross-functional teams effectively with stakeholders and possesses in-depth knowledge of SAP. Additionally, fluency in English is essential.

Aufgaben
  1. Process international finished goods orders and create order confirmations, ensuring timely and accurate handling.
  2. Maintain and monitor purchase orders, including delivery confirmations, quantity and delivery date changes and follow up on delayed orders to ensure smooth operations.
  3. Coordinate between procurement and supply chain functions in Rotkreuz and other locations (e.g., Switzerland/Germany/USA/China) regarding purchase orders.
  4. Generate virtual goods receipt and goods issue after receiving the shipping notification manually, ensuring accurate inventory management.
  5. Create transportation service orders including processing and approving of the respective invoicing workflows.
  6. Initiate returns as specified by the final goods recipient (other Roche company) or Roche intercompany supply chain. Manage and monitor the return process efficiently.
  7. Process invoice verification workflow items in consultation with the SRM Manager.
  8. Maintain material and vendor-specific master data in purchase info records and order books as directed by supply relationship management (SRM) managers in Rotkreuz and other global locations.
  9. Material master workflow for new product creation, contributing to the supply chain optimization and ensuring the smooth introduction of new materials into the supply chain.
  10. Support operative drop shipment processes for specific finished goods materials in other Roche global locations.
  11. Manage and coordinate the onboarding process for third-party vendors, ensuring all necessary documentation and compliance requirements are met to facilitate smooth integration into the Roche finished goods dropshipment process.
  12. Support the SRM manager and global planner for spend, Right First Time (RFT), and On-Time In-Full (OTIF) reporting, contributing to effective supply chain management.
Qualifikation
  1. Commercial degree with logistics, purchasing or import/export background.
  2. First experience in logistics, purchasing or import & export.
  3. In-depth knowledge of both SAP and MS Office.
  4. Experience in working and networking with stakeholders.
  5. Responsible and independent worker.
  6. Proactive, enthusiastic, and possess very good communication skills.
  7. Fluent in German and English.

  1. Enthusiastic about learning and self-development.
  2. Flexible and open to new methods and ideas.
  3. Experience in Google Suite.
Work hours

Standard 40 h/Week / Remote/Home Office: possible up to 40%.
