For our client, Roche Diagnostics in Rotkreuz, Switzerland, we are seeking a reliable and motivated individual for the position of Procurement Project Manager.

The perfect candidate has a University degree in Engineering, Business, Finance or Life Sciences and brings 5+ years of procurement or supply chain experience delivering measurable value in strategic sourcing, enterprise cost reduction or operational efficiency projects. We are looking for someone who will put patients first, act as one team, embrace differences and think long term.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive procurement project plans, considering timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Monitor and control project execution.
  • Monitor and mitigate risk – Proactively identify and report any projected risks to overall targets or timelines and potential mitigation strategies. Resolve issues and project risks on a timely basis and escalate issues and risks where appropriate.
  • Plan, design, and lead global Sourcing & Benchmarking projects.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with internal and external partners; coordinate cross-functional teams.

Must Haves:

  • University degree in Engineering, Business, Finance or Life Sciences preferred.
  • High proficiency in English.
  • 5+ years of procurement or supply chain experience delivering measurable value in strategic sourcing, enterprise cost reduction, and/or operational efficiency projects, preferably within global Pharma or Medical Device manufacturing companies.
  • Familiarity with different project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
  • 3+ years of project management experience including risk management, project reporting, and delivering quantitative and qualitative results in complex environments.
