Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with AML & CDB regulations and internal policies during account opening.
- Conduct due diligence (KYC) and verify documentation adequacy and plausibility.
- Check compliance with CDB20, LBA, OBA-FINMA, and tax regulations (FATCA, CRS, QI).
- Support relationship managers with account opening for individuals and corporations.
- Collaborate with Compliance, Front Office, Tax, and Legal departments.
- Participate in departmental and cross-functional projects.
- Stay updated on regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Attend mandatory training sessions and facilitate team information sharing.
The Successful Applicant
Profile:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within a Swiss private bank.
- Strong knowledge of AML & FT regulations and standards.
- Proficiency in IT tools; knowledge of Avaloq is a plus.
- Versatile, persistent, with strong analytical and synthesis skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication in French and English.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
- Residency in Switzerland required.
