Vision
Helio is a Swiss startup based in Zurich and is building the first carbon-aware cloud: By increasing the utilization rates of data centers worldwide (over 80% of the resources are not being used), accelerating the adaption of green energy sources (data centers consume around 5% of the global energy and are responsible for the same amount of Green House Gas as the aviation industry), and extending the lifetime of the hardware, Helio lowers the emissions of the cloud industry significantly.
At Helio with this hands-on and entrepreneurial role, you will:- Work closely with the founders on the go-to-market, scale the product to 1.5m ARR within the next months and accelerate the CAGR further
- Collaborate with management and experts to build and iterate on the sales process
- Perform interviews, demos and follow-ups with leads while empathically discover their challenges and needs
- Negotiate and close deals with customers
- Convert existing users to recurring revenue
- Discover and close up- and cross-selling potential with existing customers
- Feed back your learnings to the engineering team to improve the product
- Maintaining and improving the complete sales funnel and supporting SREs
- Have a creative, problem-solving, and results-driven mindset
- Have at least 2 years of experience in a startup-sales environment
- Are passionate for sales and helping customers succeed
- Enjoy closing deals and stay persuasive
- Have a reliable personality with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Like working independently and as part of a team
- Are familiar with sales tools such as Salesforce, Hubspot, or similar CRM systems
