Junior Operations Analyst – Investment Reporting & Accounting (Zurich, Switzerland)

Cognizant is expanding its team and seeking enthusiastic, full-time Junior Operations Analysts in Wealth Management. This hybrid banking and financial services role offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

Support the execution of cross-border merger strategies from old entity to new entity for a leading bank.

Assist in managing Investment Banking and Wealth Management products, focusing on Securities, Corporate Actions, Custody Services, Hedge Funds, Investment Reporting, Foreign Exchange, Collateral, and Data Management.

Help prepare and create financial statements for investment accounting clients.

Perform data reconciliation to ensure accuracy and consistency of financial records.

Facilitate smooth operations across the Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office functions.

Skills and Experience:

Basic understanding of investment reporting and accounting.

Experience in data reconciliation.

Familiarity with creating financial statements for investment accounting clients.

Foundational knowledge of Equities and Fixed Income products with an understanding of processing confirmations and settlements.

Understanding of the Securities domain, including corporate actions.

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Basic German and fluent English proficiency.
