Junior Operations Analyst – Wealth Management (Zurich, Switzerland)

Responsibilities:

Support the execution of cross-border merger strategies from old entity to new entity for a leading bank.

Assist in managing Investment Banking and Wealth Management products, focusing on Securities, Corporate Actions, Custody Services, Hedge Funds, Investment Reporting, Foreign Exchange, Collateral, and Data Management.

Ensure smooth operations across the Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office functions.

Facilitate the transfer of securities portfolios between financial institutions worldwide.

Monitor and ensure timely settlement of client transactions in global markets.

Skills and Experience:

Basic understanding of securities settlements, including capturing, instructing, and monitoring orders.

Knowledge of securities markets and custodian bank functions.

Familiarity with SWIFT messaging, particularly MT54x settlement instructions.

Foundational knowledge of Equities and Fixed Income products with an understanding of processing confirmations and settlements.

Awareness of the securities domain, including corporate actions.

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Basic German and fluent English proficiency.
