Senior Operations Analyst – Investment Reporting & Accounting (Zurich, Switzerland)

Cognizant is expanding its team and seeking flexible, full-time Senior Operations Analysts in Wealth Management. This hybrid banking and financial services role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

Lead the execution of cross-border merger strategies from old entity to new entity for a leading bank.

Oversee and manage Investment Banking and Wealth Management products, focusing on Securities, Corporate Actions, Custody Services, Hedge Funds, Investment Reporting, Foreign Exchange, Collateral, and Data Management.

Prepare and create financial statements for investment accounting clients.

Perform data reconciliation to ensure accuracy and consistency of financial records.

Ensure efficient operations across the Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office functions.

Mentor and guide junior analysts, promoting best practices in investment reporting and accounting.

Skills and Experience:

Extensive experience in investment reporting and accounting.

Proven experience in creating financial statements for investment accounting clients.

Strong background in data reconciliation.

Comprehensive knowledge of Equities and Fixed Income products with processing knowledge of confirmations and settlements.

In-depth understanding of the Securities domain, including corporate actions.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Basic German and fluent English proficiency.
