The Faculty of Business, Economics and Informatics of the University of Zurich invites applications for a

Professorship in Economics of Child and Youth Development - with a focus on breastfeeding

Applications are invited for a position as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Full Professor, starting in Fall 2025.

The research focus of the professorship will be to understand how economic, social, psychological and biological factors interact in creating opportunities and overcoming obstacles in child and youth development. In this context, candidates should also be interested in exploring the role of infant nutrition and breastfeeding for child development.

Candidates should hold a PhD degree in Economics. The position involves teaching undergraduate and graduate courses. The language of instruction is either German or English.
