About the Position
The Professorship will be located at the Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Prevention Institute (EBPI) of the Faculty of Medicine. The EBPI is affiliated with the Faculty of Science of the University of Zurich.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research in the field of epidemiology, with a focus on causal inference and health economics.
- Develop and apply modern methods of causal inference and health economics in population-based and clinical research.
- Teach in the context of the Bachelor, Master, and PhD programs at the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Science.
- Collaborate with researchers at the EBPI and the University of Zurich.
Requirements
- PhD or MD degree.
- Proven research track in the field of epidemiology, with a focus on causal inference and health economics.
- Excellent track record in research and a collaborative attitude.
- Strong motivation for innovative teaching and support of junior scientists.
