We are seeking a highly skilled postdoctoral researcher to join our team at the Department of Management, Technology, and Economics. The successful candidate will have a strong background in agricultural economics and a proven track record of research excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a research profile focusing on farmers' decision making in the context of sustainable agricultural practices, including analysis of survey, experimental, and census data.
- Teach at bachelor and master level in the field of agricultural economics, contributing to the development of our academic programs.
- Supervise and mentor bachelor and master students, providing guidance and support in their research projects.
- Support and contribute to third-party funded projects, collaborating with colleagues and external partners to achieve project goals.
- Engage in outreach activities, sharing research findings and expertise with stakeholders and the broader community.
Requirements
- PhD (or near completion) in agricultural economics or a related field.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Methodological expertise in one or more areas, including econometrics, spatial econometrics, analysis of survey data, surveys, and economic experiments.
- Fluency in written and spoken English, with knowledge of German and French an advantage but not required.
