Role Purpose

The Head of Financial Consolidation and Reporting System (FCRS) is responsible for the consolidation system, ensuring the reliability of this system and the integrity of the information contained within it.

The resulting information is used for internal and external financial reporting purpose and business decision-making at various levels in the organization.

In addition, the Head of Financial Consolidation and Reporting System (FCRS) collaborate with the countries and regions to increase accuracy and reduce effort in gathering the data (through training and development of new tools).

The position contributes to the development of new management reporting systems and contributes to meeting the demands of the key customers of the reporting team, together with working with other team members to analyse the figures and ensure that they accurately reflect the business.


Your Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the integrity, viability, and accuracy of the Sandoz Division in regards to its financial reporting processes and systems
  • Prepare global consolidation entries and provide detailed overview consolidation entries (incl. Core adjustments)
  • Manage the systems internal controls, ensuring appropriate compliance in line with Sarbanes-Oxley and internal requirements
  • Manage the liaison with external auditors (PwC) relating to the system and processes under the control of the position
  • Provide timely divisional reporting information to FRA, BPA, Marketing and Technical Operations members.
  • Working closely with Country and Regional FRA teams, help maintaining qualitative and timely reporting data
  • Consolidation of Target incl. preparation of consolidation entries

Minimum requirements

  • Significant (12+ years) experience in financial reporting systems and multicurrency financial consolidation
  • Experience as across different FRA functions required.
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent analytical ability
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent understanding and ability with ERP systems, as well as relevant financial subsystems
