Role Purpose


The Manager Financial Consolidation and Reporting System (FCRS) Reporting is working closely with Head FCRS, the Consolidation & Reporting team and local affiliates to deliver the Sandoz Group month end closing in the FCRS system to meet the internal and external financial reporting requirements.

This includes reviewing the submitted financial data, develop and review of consolidation bookings, providing reporting guidance independently and answering accounting & reporting queries to increase reporting quality.


Your Key Responsibilities

  • FCRS month end closing process
  • Ensure the integrity, viability and accuracy of the financial reporting processes and systems
  • Support the design, test, decisionmaking and implementation of FCRS system enhancements and reporting changes, including change management and communication
  • Preparations for quarterly balance sheet review
  • Review of Account reconciliations and company level controls (CLC)
  • Participation in other relevant crossfunctional projects (e.g. SAP-System changes, SPMR projects, Legal Entity Consolidation, M&A projects)
  • Prepare and perform global adjustment entries including Corporate posting and Group consolidation entries
  • Interactions with various Sandoz Group FRA, Group BPA, Region FRA, Country FRA and NOCCs

Minimum requirements

  • Financial Reporting & Accounting or Public Accounting
  • Financial Reporting Process: experience acquired in global consolidation for listed companies
  • Excellent analytical ability
  • IFRS knowledge with experience in listed companies
  • Experience with ERP systems as well as relevant financial subsystems (especially SAP)
  • Ability to work in cross functional, in teams and in an international environment
  • University Degree, ideally in finance & accounting, economics, business administration or management information systems
  • Relevant work experience of 8 to 10 years
