We are looking for a vibrant and experienced Field Service Manager to supervise our field service operations. In this role, you will need a solid grasp of field service management to guarantee smooth customer experiences and partnerships with local collaborators worldwide.

Your Mission
  1. Team Management
    • Supervise and lead a team of field service technicians.
    • Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure top-notch service delivery.
    • Manage schedules and assignments in collaboration with the dispatcher.
    • Evaluate team performance.
    • Ensure positive absorption of FST cost and utilization rate.
    • Ensure systematic review and follow-up of reports with professional communication from the field to internal stakeholders.
    • Foster team development through workforce planning, in collaboration with relevant partners.
  2. Operational Oversight
    • Coordinate field service activities to meet SLAs and customer expectations.
    • Monitor metrics like customer satisfaction and implement necessary improvements.
    • Implement efficient processes and procedures to optimize operations and enhance customer experiences.
  3. Customer Service
    • Address escalated customer issues or technical challenges as the primary contact point.
    • Collaborate with BCCs to understand customers' technical requirements and offer effective solutions.
    • Proactively handle customer feedback and strive to surpass expectations in field service interactions.
  4. Resource Management
    • Oversee inventory, logistics, and technical resources for field service activities.
    • Coordinate with internal teams like logistics, procurement, and engineering to address technical issues and optimize resource allocation.
  5. Collaboration with Local Partners
    • Establish and nurture strong relationships with local partners globally.
    • Collaborate with local partners to ensure efficient deployment of field service technicians.
  6. Technical Expertise
    • Provide technical guidance to field service technicians.
    • Stay informed on product knowledge and industry trends for effective troubleshooting and support.
    • Assist in resolving complex technical issues and contribute to technical documentation and training materials.
    • Secure and transfer know-how through effective know-how management following group standards.
  7. Safety and Compliance
    • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies in field service operations.
    • Implement and enforce safety protocols to reduce risks to technicians and customers.
Your Profile
  • Proficiency in both German and English is mandatory.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business management, or related field (preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience in field service management roles.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
  • Familiarity with field service management software.
  • Understanding of technical concepts.
