Global Learning and Development Manager

Job Summary:


As Global Learning & Development Manager you drive employee engagement and business impact by supporting the global strategy, processes and infrastructure to enable lifelong learning at all levels of the organization.

You lead the community of global learning administrators who support learning needs worldwide. Based on data analytics you develop and recommend the future learning strategy including AI-driven approaches.

You will be supporting the development of the global Leadership Development Portfolio by co-designing and coordinating global Leadership and Talent programs.

By implementing scalable development programs across the organization, you will actively contribute to building the gategroup leaders and organization for the future.


Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the global Learning Strategy & Policy for gategroup in collaboration with the regional People Functions.
  • Act as the single point of contact for Learning and Training related matters, including vendor selection for global training and translation needs.
  • Own and further develop the global Training catalogue and other scalable open development programs, like Open Mentoring, learning through project gigs, shadowing and others.
  • Actively lead the community of Learning Adminstrators worldwide and provide and further develop the global training portfolio for gategroup.
  • Collaborate with global functions and HRIS Learning specialists on the global calendar for mandatory Compliance, IT and other training.
  • Plan and support roll out of internal People Function Training.
  • Ensure leverage of Workday as one Learning Management System and use data analytics to recommend future learning approach.
  • Review AIdriven learning and development approaches that support the learning and development strategy at gategroup.
  • Codesign and coordinate the implementation of global Senior Executive Development Programs.
  • Lead innovative scalable Leadership Development programs in close collaboration with the Global Communications Function.
  • Maintain and proactively use the Talent and Development communication via the People Sharepoint solution.
  • Support Talent Management processes and interventions based on data analytics.
  • Build the external Talent and Development brand of gategroup by proactively collaborating with Communications on our social media engagement e.g. LinkedIn etc.

Education:

  • Additional Education in Leadership Development or Learning is desirable.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of work experience, preferably in Human Resources or Business.
  • Experience in Learning, Training & Development.
  • Knowledge of current trends in Learning, AI and Systems, Program& Project Management.
  • Experience in Leadership Development Design & Implementation is desirable.

Business Software Package:
Powerpoint, Excel- Experience with HRIS system, ideally Workday LMS and Talent Modules- Minimum language requirement: English, additional languages welcome- Learning Program - and Project Management- Agile Methodology, Adult Development and Talent Management experience desirable
