Your role

  • Do you have experience in the external asset management segment? At UBS we have a ringfenced unit, catering to financial intermediaries. With a dedicated coverage model, well developed tools, reporting capabilities and differentiated wealth management solutions, UBS provides a unique offering for intermediaries across the globe.
  • As a Client Advisor in the FIM world, your clients are multifamily offices, asset managers, banks, and brokers. Your role is to manage the daily needs of these relationships, resolve risk mandates related to the book, and ensure a top client experience (in coordination with your assistant). This is an extremely dynamic, fast paced team, and we look for individuals who have a proven track record of operational excellence, agility, and relationship management. To be successful you must be very structured and maintain a high level of knowledge across key wealth management workflows. It is equally important to have a great client manner, ability to problem solve, and anticipate your top clients' needs. Does that sound like you? If so, we are keen to meet you
  • Main Responsibilities:
  • point of entry for client requests and general enquiries (mortgages, tax reports etc.)
- responsible for process excellence and overseeing the execution of your clients' instructions in accordance with all the relevant laws, regulations and compliance requirements
- manage in coordination with the assistants, all daily business related to FIMs and their clients, including overseeing end to end client on-boarding process, timely execution of transactions and payments, and assisting in ad hoc queries
- regular interaction with FIM to discuss day-to-day business relevant topics, on-boarding of additional FIM representatives, and guided education session across the bank's tools, offerings and capabilities
- bear full responsibility for risk management of the book including managing risk mandates, repapering, and eventual audit related requests
- support team in fulfillment of KPIs

Your team

  • You will work in the Global Financial Intermediaries (GFIM) Desk LATAM South in Geneva, servicing intermediaries domiciled across Latin America and in particular in the southern cone. Our growth strategy hinges on selectively onboarding entities with a proven business model and deepening existing relationships. Operational excellence is a key lever for share of wallet growth and is the essential way you will contribute to this team. We are a lean team, and therefore search for team players with a proven track record for collaboration and proactivity. Our goal is to remain the first choice as a partner bank in the Swiss financial center for FIM clients.

Your expertise
- experience working in a client facing role in the intermediary segment for a tier one institution is strongly preferred
- deep knowledge of cross-border wealth management framework
- proven track record of service excellence and ability to manage high work volumes in a structured manner
- proven ability to make new contacts and build long-term client relationships
- capacity to absorb many complex process flows and work quickly in an error free manner
- strong communication skills in English, Spanish (spoken and written) is a must; knowledge of French preferred
