Application Support Team Lead

As the premier supplier to our client, a leading commodities company based in Switzerland, Swisslinx is looking for a highly motivated individual to take on a challenging role as an Application Support Team Led who will join and lead the IT Support Function.


Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the Metals Marketing Business Application Support Team, ensuring efficient support to
  • Collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, and other IT teams to resolve reported issues
  • Establish and maintain regular communication with stakeholders on the status and progress of pending
issues

  • Lead problem management initiatives and propose corrective measures to proactively prevent recurring issues
  • Ensure the extension and maintenance of product support documentation for support staff and end users
  • Foster a proactive, serviceoriented culture within the team, ensuring exceptional support and user satisfaction

Your background:

  • Strong SQL knowledge and IT Development technologies and process (SDLC)
  • At least 5 years working experience in a support role
  • Experience of ITIL processes and tools
  • Knowledge and use of business analysis methodologies
  • English (mandatory), German, French or Spanish is a plus
  • Valid Swiss working permit or EU Nationality
