Job Description

Official Position: Regional Project Lead

The Regional Project Lead is responsible for managing and coordinating project teams across different countries to ensure consistency in Clinical Operations processes. They play a vital role in ensuring that study milestones are achieved at both country and regional levels.

  • Ensures project planning, implementation, and management align with industry regulations and essential study documents
  • Acts as the primary contact for project management in designated countries
  • Reviews study status and progress reports
  • Collects and presents project updates internally and externally
  • Develops and maintains essential project documents
  • Manages Key Performance Indicators for countries and team members
  • Ensures project timelines and enrollment targets are met
  • Coordinates study-specific tracking systems
  • Manages site contractual startup and budget negotiations
  • Establishes effective communication within the project team
  • Identifies and resolves performance issues
  • Conducts therapeutic area training and investigator training
  • Ensures team compliance with training requirements
  • Conducts field training for Monitors
  • Supervises site visits, payments, and data management
  • Prepares for audits and inspections
  • Coordinates Regulatory and Ethics Committee submissions
  • Oversees safety information flow and feasibility research
  • Reviews and approves project expenses and timesheets
Qualifications
  • College/University degree in Life Sciences or equivalent
  • Significant experience in Clinical Research and site monitoring
  • Previous experience as a Study Manager or Lead
  • Experience in Oncology preferred
  • Proficiency in English and MS Office applications
  • Strong communication, presentation, and customer-service skills
  • Ability to negotiate and build relationships
  • Strong team-building, leadership, and organizational skills
