M&a Manager, Business Development

Sensors has established a global Business Transformation Office (BTO), focused on the successful management and execution of global, transformational projects in support of profitable business growth.


  • As the M&A BD, you will support the BTO in the architecture and enablement of longterm strategic growth.
  • You will determine and document correct standardized methods/processes/reporting for Business Transformation M&A Management activities such as:
  • Define structured approach to evaluations
  • Maintaining a radar
  • Building a business case

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Head of the Sensors Business Transformation Project Office
  • Responsible for various projects relating to external growth, new growth platforms as well as other strategically relevant topics sponsored by the Business Unit Senior Leadership Team.
  • Develop an industrialized approach to M&A that includes:
  • Pre-definition of key strategic acquisition rationales and target assessment criteria
  • Develop deal processing skills & resources
  • Develop an integration platform & skill
  • Develop a deal pipeline by proactively screening attractive targets and nurturing opportunities
  • Market and company research and evaluations
  • Acquisition target identification, assessments, and due diligence
  • Acquisition project management and integration support
  • This is a highprofile position intended as a springboard to a line management position at TE Connectivity within a timeframe of 23 years

What your background should look like:

  • 7-10 years' experience with a top-tier strategy consulting firm or a Corporate Business Development Organization of a larger industrial company. Industrial job experience is a plus.
  • He/she should be very independent, possess a positive, handson attitude and should be willing to travel internationally.
  • International experience is a plus.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is a must, German/French language ability a plus but not required
