Job Description:

The electrical engineer will be in charge of creating and managing the electrical systems and software for our Sealed Air Cryovac packaging machines. The focus is on ensuring high-quality designs that meet all requirements and comply with relevant directives and standards.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proven track record in electrical design within the machinery or industrial automation sector
  • Comprehensive understanding of electrical components and systems, such as PLCs, motors, and sensors
  • Familiarity with current standards and directives is beneficial
  • Experience with PLC programming (structured text, Allen Bradley, Siemens) is a plus
  • Capability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Proficiency in German and English languages (English being the corporate language)
  • Strong communication abilities, resilience, teamwork, flexibility, and accountability

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

  • Degree in electrical engineering (HF) or equivalent
  • Background in automation/electrical engineering
  • Proficiency in CAD software for electrical design (eXs e-cad knowledge is advantageous)
  • Basic understanding of PLC programming
