Job Description:

The role of the electrical engineer at SEE entails the design and maintenance of electrical systems and software for Sealed Air Cryovac packaging machines. The position involves ensuring the designs meet high-quality standards, fulfill specified requirements, and adhere to relevant directives and norms.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Proven expertise in electrical design within the machinery or industrial automation sector
  • Comprehensive knowledge of electrical components and systems, encompassing PLCs, motors, and sensors
  • Familiarity with relevant standards and directives is beneficial
  • Proficiency in PLC programming, including structured text in Allen Bradley and Siemens systems, is advantageous
  • Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting
  • Proficiency in German and English languages (English being the corporate language)
  • Strong communication skills, resilience, teamwork, flexibility, and accountability
Education, Experience, and Certifications:
  • Degree in electrical engineering (HF) or similar field
  • Hands-on experience in automation and electrical engineering
  • Familiarity with CAD software for electrical design, with knowledge of eXs e-cad as a plus
  • Basic understanding of PLC programming
