Shipping Coordinator

The Job

The Shipping coordinator embodies key responsibilities. It takes care of all shipments organized for Geneva sales, importations, exportations and administrative work of the department. Full time temporary position from August 2023 to March 2024.

Specific duties & responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Provide shipping quotes, create import/export invoices, meet deadlines and send shipment's pre-alerts

Packing of jewels and watches to be shipped from Geneva office

Coordinating transports with suppliers

Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders

Administration support:
CITES, receipt of deliveries, invoices, TIB files

Other duties as assigned by Line Manager

Experience in the luxury or art industry is recommended

Demonstrate excellent proactivity, communication & organisation skills

Be able to organise yourself, prioritise your own workload/activity and work to meet deadlines

Proven time/task management and problem solving abilities

A passion and determination to deliver a high standard of client service

Positive, dynamic attitude and team player

Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally

A good problem solver with the ability to seek continuous improvement.

Logical thinker & attention to detail

Proficient in using MS Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint

Fluent in French & English
