T&S is a trading company in charge of all physical trading and shipping of crude oil and refined products on behalf of the TotalEnergies Company. It has been an active participant all over the supply chain as well as on the derivatives paper market in order to manage the market risk for a long time. ). As such, it operates in fast-evolving market dynamics influenced by internal and external factors that require constant adaptation and evolution.

    What you will do
As an
-
Internal Controller the purpose of your role will be to ensure:

  • **
  • The control of risks
  • The management of authorisations in our information systems
  • The proper functioning of the activities' management
  • The availability and the proper enforcement of the procedures
To do so, your main tasks will be the following:

  • Participates in the updating and dissemination of T&S general procedures and delegations of authority
  • Participates in the daytoday management of T&S employee movements and associated impacts in the various systems: Network Account, Medissys Gestion (internal ERP),
  • Sarbanes-Oxley (ALC/ELC):
  • Participate in testing
  • Support Internal Control Manager and SOX Coordinator in automation and implementation of new controls
  • Management of reports:
  • Quarterly Dashboard
  • Specific reports to management
  • Interface with Medissys team for new developments
  • Management of crossfunctional projects related to IT/Digital
  • Participates to the continuous improvement of operational risk management and development of new internal control tools
  • T&S REX coordinator
  • Participates in internal and external audits
  • Assists the T&S Internal Control Manager in the production of analyses/studies
  • Participates in ECI (Essentials of Internal Control) followup

Contexte et Environnement

  • The Genevabased position covers all Trading & Shipping companies located on 4 main sites (Paris, Geneva, Singapore, Houston) and requires developing and maintaining a good relationship with all employees within T&S including Managers and Directors.
  • A strong involvement is necessary to understand the activities and specificities of Trading & Shipping: market positions, credit risks, risks related to the shipping activity and the information systems.

Profil recherché

  • You hold a Master's Degree in Engineering / Business or equivalent with experience in Computer Science and Economics fields.
  • You have excellent knowledge of common softwares (Excel, Sharepoint, PBI, etc.) and strong interest in information systems.
  • You are Fluent in English
  • You have a first experience in audit or internal control
  • A first experience in Trading environment or knowledge about the field would be a plus
  • Rigor, availability, analytical skills and good interpersonal skills are essential
