THE ROLEHere are your main responsibilities:
  • Lead the Women's Referee program towards the FIFA Women's World Cup 2027 by overseeing all tournaments, seminars, and necessary activities to prepare for this crucial FIFA competition.
  • Establish, allocate budget, and execute a plan for Women's Referee Development.
  • Supervise team members on all relevant issues.
  • Collaborate with the Technology Resource team to create Educational Material for Development projects (such as Regional Instructors Courses, MA Courses, etc.).
  • Assist the Director of Refereeing with administrative duties in cooperation with the Head of Refereeing Administration when required.

The specific skills we need for this role include:
  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience as a female FIFA referee or assistant referee with involvement as a match official at least one FIFA Women's World Cup.
  • Thorough understanding and knowledge of soccer.
  • Extensive experience as a FIFA Referee, Confederation, or FIFA instructor.
  • Capability to devise strategic plans (both short and long-term) for referee development.
  • Passion for nurturing female referees, understanding their unique challenges.
  • Trustworthy, tactful, with exceptional communication and teaching abilities.
  • Inspirational and motivating leadership style.
