We are devoted to assisting individuals and organizations in fostering diversity and inclusion to enhance their products and work environments.

Volunteering Role:
- This is a volunteer position
- Time commitment: 5 - 9 hours per week
- Location: remote
Purpose
We are developing a platform for diverse tech-focused content on skills and career advancement in the tech field. The target audience includes IT professionals and individuals transitioning to tech from other STEM backgrounds. As a Research & Writer Volunteer with a passion for technology and diversity, you will research tech topics and craft engaging blog articles aligning with women++'s strategy.
As a member of the women++ team, your input and growth are essential. Engage with the team, explore intriguing topics on diversity and inclusion.
TasksResponsibilities
You will be researching, organizing, and creating educational tech blog posts for our new project.
Development Over Six Months of Volunteering
Within three months:
- Meet with fellow researchers, content editor, and strategy team to align with the new women++ blog strategy and content plan.
- Explore tech topics in the Swiss industry to produce informative articles for our audience.
- Collaborate with women++'s content editor to refine your articles post-proofreading and feedback.
- Conduct keyword research and adhere to SEO guidelines for content optimization.
- Deliver a minimum of 2 articles monthly scheduled in our blog calendar as per the strategy.
Within six months:
- Complete your onboarding phase and be introduced to the women++ community.
- Suggest innovative outreach ideas.
Firstly, we believe in maximizing potential through training, learning, and attitude. Even without extensive experience, if you are interested in social media marketing, you might fit this role perfectly. We seek individuals with:
- Research and Interpretation Skills: Ability to evaluate tech-related information and present it for educational purposes.
- Storytelling: Transform research into engaging articles, guides, etc.
- Passion for Tech: Strong interest in tech topics
- Effective Communication: Proficient in written and oral English, German proficiency is a bonus.
- Ownership, Proactivity, Reliability
- Guided Support: Receive mentoring on women++'s marketing practices and have a dedicated partner for guidance and reflection.
- Ownership and Leadership: Take charge of the tech educational content domain with autonomy after initial training.
- Networking Opportunities: Join a team of professionals at women++, network with industry leaders, and expand through community relationships.
- Personal Development: Apply and enhance research and writing skills, broaden knowledge on diversity, inclusion, and tech.
- Enhance Your CV: Gain practical volunteer experience and contribute to a meaningful cause.
