Within the Center of Expertise Analytical Processes, you will support the development and validation of the next generation of analytical methods for Ferring.
Your day at Ferring
Support the development strategy based on literature, regulation, and laboratory background. Write the relevant documentation (ATP, development protocol, validation protocol/report, procedures...) in the scope of the project. Optimize the reference method(s) if needed. Source material, perform the experiments according to the defined strategy and protocol. Develop a model (PLS or other) to correlate NIR Spectra to the reference analysis, assess the data, optimize parameters, and participate to validation/analytical transfer if possible. Currently enrolled in university degree in sciences-related field (Pharmacy, master's degree, Engineers...) you are available for a 6-month internship, starting in April or May 2024:
Theorical and practical knowledge in analytical chemistry and more particularly in Spectroscopy (IR, NIR, UV) and Karl Fischer. Theorical knowledge, interest, and ideally a first experience, in multivariate analysis, statistic & mathematic applied to chemistry (chemometrics). First on-hand experience in a pharmaceutical laboratory would be preferred. Leadership, autonomous, dynamic and at ease in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Self-starter, pragmatic, result-oriented and team-player. Good written and oral communication in English & French is essential.People come first at Ferring
