DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

  • Under the guidance of the Director, Financial Resources Management (FRM), and supervised by the Treasurer (FRM/FS).
  • Responsible for various duties related to operations, investments, general banking, and other assigned tasks.

1) Operations

  • Implement best practices in treasury, accounting, and risk management.
  • Ensure timely monitoring and reporting of financial risks.
  • Develop policies and processes for Treasury operations.
  • Liaise with country offices for banking services and operational support.
  • Supervise Treasury staff, provide training, and promote task automation.

2) Investments

  • Maintain relationships with investment counterparts and asset managers.
  • Review investment performance and oversee accounting activities.
  • Prepare investment reports and ensure compliance with guidelines.
  • Monitor compliance of managed funds and handle settlement approvals.

3) General Banking

  • Establish relationships with banking partners for efficient services.
  • Support country office banking requirements and oversee payment authorizations.
  • Maintain cash items, bank signatory panels, and review bank reconciliations.
  • Analyze banking fees to ensure adherence to conditions.

4) Other Duties

  • Provide ERP Business Process evaluation and training.
  • Manage the credit card program and maintain updated policies and procedures.
  • Prepare financial statements and maintain banking-related information.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and performance monitoring.
  • Perform other assigned duties.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or finance.
  • Experience: Seven years in accounting/finance with supervisory experience.
  • Skills: Competencies in teamwork, communication, results orientation, and adaptability.
  • Technical Expertise: Knowledge of financial management practices, analytical skills, organizational abilities, and relationship building.
  • Languages: Proficient in English with Spanish knowledge.
  • IT Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and ERP systems.
