What impact do you have?Lead a team of data devops professionals focused on developing our data platformProvide guidance and mentorship to team members to promote professional and individual growth and developmentTogether with the product owner and the team, you focus on ensuring the greatest possible benefit for our customers and our employeesDesign, develop, and operate scalable data platform solutions that support our growing data needs.Optimize and tune data platform for performance, scalability, and reliabilityCollaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to understand data requirements and ensure data accessibility and qualityImplement data security and privacy measures to protect sensitive informationWhat do you offer?Completed degree (university / university of applied science / higher technical college)Computer Science or relatedAt least 5 years of experienceas Data Engineer or Data Platform Engineer English (business fluent)German (excellent knowledge)Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, data focused area or a related fieldProficiency in Python and experience leading teamsDevOps skills, including experience with CI/CD, infrastructure automation, configuration management, and deployment tools (e.g., Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform)Experience in designing and building large-scale data platforms and infrastructure.Solid understanding of distributed systems, data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Airflow), and cloud technologies (ideally GCP)Familiarity with data warehouse solutions (preferably BigQuery) and ETL/ELT processes & tools Knowledge of stream processing frameworks (e.g., Kafka, Flink) is a plusFamiliarity with data governance and compliance practices is a plusDemonstrating the courage to take risks and act on convictions under uncertainty Identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to enhance productivity and effectivenessExcellent communication and teamwork abilities in English and German
