Reporting directly to the Head Counsel for this Maison, the tasks include:
Providing timely and results oriented legal advice and supporting on a wide variety of matters across the activities of the Maison Responding to ad hoc queries and identifying, analysing and evaluating risks in order to provide appropriate and compliant solutions Negotiating, reviewing, and drafting of a wide variety of legal and commercial documents, including manufacturing, distribution, services, license, sponsoring etc., agreements Working in close cooperation with a variety of Richemont entities and with the support functions of the Richemont Group and liaising with and managing external counselsHOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCESS WITH US?
Qualified lawyer - Bar admission is a must Minimum of 5 years post bar qualification experience in providing legal advice on a wide variety of legal matters in an international environment. A combination of private practice and in-house experience is preferred. Experience will include commercial / contract law. Proven drafting and negotiation skills are important Fluent written and spoken English. German and/or French are a plus Good command of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word and Excel) Solid grasp of the principles of law and an ability to adapt your work quickly dealing with different tasks also in fields of law where your experience may have been limited Strong team player with excellent project management and communication skills Result and business oriented, open-minded, excellent analytical and organizational skills with the ability to work in close cooperation with others - both internal and external lawyers and non-lawyer colleagues Have sound commercial judgment, strong intellect and the confidence to take the lead in negotiations with both internal and external counterparties Demonstrate excellent persuasion and negotiation skills in complex settings Articulate proposals clearly, balance the requirement for technical expertise, and have the ability to recognise the bigger commercial picture
