Senior Legal Counsel: Environment, Social Affairs Specialist

This is a fast-paced role that requires a strong understanding of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) matters. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring laws and regulations, developing policies and procedures, and supporting the implementation of ESG-related initiatives. The role also involves working closely with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Monitoring of laws and regulations: Maintaining an efficient monitoring of relevant laws and regulations to identify and address legal and regulatory risks.
Development of Policies & Procedures: Supporting the development and implementation of ESG-related policies and procedures, including supplier due diligence and transparency frameworks.
Sustainability Reporting & Audits: Supporting the preparation of non-financial reports and audits to ensure compliance with ESG standards and regulations.
Education & Outreach: Educating stakeholders on ESG-related matters and promoting a culture of sustainability within the organization.
Requirements
7+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally in-house or within a firm supporting international clients on ESG matters.
Prior experience in the luxury sector, including watchmaking, jewelry, or fashion, is a plus.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in business-related disciplines, ESG, human rights, or law.
Fluency in French and English; German is a plus.
Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal issues in simple terms.
Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team.
Dedicated, flexible, curious, pragmatic, and autonomous.
