Technology & Operations design and integrate software applications ranging from portfolio management systems, trading platforms to banking and corporate solutions. The division is responsible for some of the Group’s key innovations while sustaining business operations and developing custodian and funds administration services. 

We are looking for an experienced Data Analytics Specialist to join our Tariffs team. As a key member of our motivated team, you will be working as part of the Bank’s Technology & Operations division. As the successful applicant you will contribute your data analytics know-how and ability to work efficiently on your own to a service-oriented team that will value your motivation, high standards and joined-up thinking. Our department, Banking Operations, is undergoing a series of structural, technological and organisational changes. Your role

Tariffs data reporting and operational analytics : Mapping the operational needs into our new control framework. Leading a data-driven transformation to continuously improve and streamline our operational controls. Challenging, refining and transforming our current controls (on periodical, transactional and retrocession fees). Suggesting solutions to meet existing needs and improve insights into current framework – focusing on data, visualisation and tools. Carrying out ad-hoc analysis requested by colleagues and teams. Data management and production process optimisation : Contributing to translating business and financial needs into technical and data specifications. Helping to improve the efficiency and consistency of data warehouses, reporting processes and dashboards. Overseeing financial reporting processes from end to end (i.e. from assessing the requirements and data needs to analysing, developing and implementing solutions). Liaising with tech and data teams across Technology & Operations to leverage synergies in data sharing and production processes.

Your profile

Qualifications and professional experience : A Master’s degree in Finance or Computer Science (or a related field). At least five years’ experience in a business analytics and/or data management role in the banking industry or with a financial Institution. Knowledge of advanced analytics tools. Excellent command of English and French. Must be resident in Switzerland. Skills and personal attributes : Strong data-handling, data-analysis and problem-solving skills. Good programming skills, preferably in SQL and Python; knowledge of Java and Mendix or equivalent languages a definite plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to find simple solutions to complex problems. Ability to synthesise and present complex information clearly, work with complex and extensive datasets, and deliver on multiple tasks under pressure and to short deadlines. Inquiring mind and attention to detail.
