Risk Analyst

Our client is a commodity trading company.

Responsibilities:


  • Develop the global Risk Management function.
  • Analyze market positions and model risk metrics (VAR, ES). Create stress testing models.
  • Provide market analysis for daily risk reports. Highlight risks to stakeholders.
  • Develop best practices for mark-to-market computation.
  • Ensure compliance with trading rules and limits.


Profile:

  • University degree in mathematics, physics, engineering or economics
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Middle Officer or Risk Analyst
  • Experience in the Commodity Trading industry ( Oil & Gas).
  • Analytical thinking: approach problem-solving systematically, anticipation of obstacles, make logical conclusions and see implications and consequences of solutions
  • Fluency in English and preferably another language
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel. VBA, SQL programming, Power BI, Python a plus
