As Global Systems Sales Manager you will be part of the Global Product Group (GPG) Automation and Communication (AC) and report to the GPG AC Sales Manager. You will be responsible for the Systems business globally and interact with our regions to grow orders and profitability, meeting our strategic objectives. Your responsibilities:

Market Growth Plans:

Identify, assess, and create market growth plans across all regions, with a specific focus on growth areas and white spots.

Strategic Initiatives:

Take ownership of, drive, and follow up on defined GPG strategic growth initiatives.

Order Growth and Profitability:

Drive top and bottom-line growth by maintaining regular interactions with the regions and strategically setting appropriate pricing and margins for key segments, countries, and opportunities.

Sales Targets and Budgets:

Set yearly sales targets during the budget process and agree on demand order budgets with regions.

Major Systems Opportunities:

Screen major systems opportunities within regions and participate actively in capture teams for critical wins.

Global Customer Relationships:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key global customers, acting as a global account manager for selected accounts.

Performance Tracking and Competence Enhancement:

Monitor performance and productivity of the sales community, identifying training gaps to enhance sales competence.

Cross-Regional Collaboration

Establish a cross-regional community to facilitate the exchange of learnings from key initiatives across different regions.

Your background:

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree of Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required. At least 10 years of professional work experience in sales organizations, with deep understanding of the substation automation and communication systems business Strong communication skills with intercultural competence, collaborative approach, flexibility, and very good organizational skills Proven leadership and success in similar positions in the power industry High personal commitment Excellent English language skills The successful candidate should be based in EU or MEA to allow global operations
