bOverview /b pAs a Bioprocess Engineer at Lonza in Visp, you will help scale and optimize manufacturing for therapeutic proteins and BioConjugates, collaborating across USP, DSP, and BioConjugates streams. You contribute to safe, compliant production that supports clinical and commercial programs while expanding capacity for global impact. You will work in a cross-functional setting focused on advancing life-science solutions that contribute to public health. This role offers a chance to influence manufacturing strategy within a leading life-sciences company. /p bVerantwortungsbereiche /bulliEnsure clinical and/or commercial manufacturing activities run on time within safety and quality standards /liliServe as the functional lead for preparation, manufacturing execution, cleaning and changeover in the assigned area /liliLead defined USP areas (e.g., seed train, main cultivation, harvest) for therapeutic proteins using mammalian or microbial systems /liliLead defined DSP areas (e.g., gain, polishing, filling) for purification of therapeutic proteins from mammalian or microbial cells /liliBe responsible for entire processes or units for clinical and commercial BioConjugates projects (e.g., Antibody Drug Conjugates) /li /ul bZentrale Anforderungen /bulliMaster’s Degree or equivalent in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Biochemistry or related Life Science subject, or Bachelor’s holder with pharma production experience /liliKnowledge in USP (e.g., bioreactors) or DSP (e.g., chromatography) /liliWorking experience in biomanufacturing is advantageous /liliGMP experience and understanding of bioprocess technology /liliExcellent communication skills in English; German skills are an advantage /li /ululliexcellent communication in English /liliteamwork and collaboration (inferred) /liliproblem-solving and adaptability (inferred) /liliUSP bioreactors /liliDSP chromatography /liliGMP and bioprocess technology /li /ul
