The Group Product Manager is responsible for the marketing and management of a product or product portfolio within a specific business line. The role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing product lifecycle management. This individual will be expected to develop and implement marketing strategies, analyze market trends, and contribute to the overall success of the business.
The candidate will be responsible for managing the following activities:
• manage the lifecycle of products within the assigned portfolio, from development to launch and beyond;
• develop and execute marketing strategies for product promotion;
• analyze market trends and customer needs to inform product development;
• plan and manage product launches within the assigned portfolio;
• work closely with R&D, Sales, and Regulatory teams to ensure successful product development and commercialization;
• engage with customers and KOLs to gather insights and feedback on products. Hard Skills The resource should also have the following
skills:
• Master's Degree in Biomedical Engineering;
• 2-3 years of experience in product management, preferably within the healthcare or medical device industry;
• Proven track record of managing the lifecycle of medical devices or similar regulated products, including development, commercialization, and post-market activities;
• Solid understanding of medical device technologies, their applications, and clinical environments;
• Familiarity with product innovation processes, including collaboration with R&D and engineering teams. Soft Skills
• exceptional communication skills for collaborating with diverse teams and presenting ideas effectively;
• strong organizational and prioritization skills to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously;
• analytical mindset for interpreting data, assessing performance, and driving continuous improvement;
• team-oriented mindset with the ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams without direct authority.
