A career with EF combines the support and opportunity of a large international organization with the spirit and energy of a small business. We look for thinkers and doers – creative, collaborative, and motivated people who are excited by education and travel. EF Education First is looking for a proactive and curious Trainee to join EF Travel's Airline Account Management team. The Airline Account Management (AAM) team manages relationships with airline partners around the world, with a heavy focus on the North American origin market. The role offers hands-on commercial exposure in an international environment, with opportunities to work with colleagues and airline partners around the world. Start date for this 11 months Traineeship position is November 2026. What you will be doing
• Support commercial account management: Prepare data analysis and meeting materials, support partner communications, and assist with negotiation and contracting activities.
• Help resolve operational queries: Work with the AAMs to investigate and resolve complex questions raised by EF Travel colleagues or airline partners.
• Maintain airline information and communications: Keep airline information up to date, maintain SharePoint documentation, and contribute content to the weekly airline newsletter.
• Take ownership of projects: Lead defined projects relevant to airline account management, with appropriate support from the team. Who you are
• You are interested in B2B relationship management and high-stakes international negotiations.
• You communicate clearly, build relationships readily, and take a proactive approach.
• You enjoy working with data and turning it into useful insights. You are comfortable with BI tools as well as Excel.
• You are eager to learn, take on new challenges, and work with people from different cultures.
• You are curious about aviation, travel, and tourism.
• You are legally eligible to work in Switzerland. Some companies are in the business of banking. Others are in the business of shoes. Or sports. Or soft drinks. At EF, we're in a different kind of business. One that's a little less tangible, and a lot more important. Because our business, what we make, makes everything else possible. We're in the business of understanding. Between people. Between cultures. For over half a century we’ve been the leader in international educational programs and experiences designed to foster such understanding. Through language, cultural exchange, academic studies, and educational travel, we create the kinds of immersive experiences that challenge biases, open minds, and pave the way for a more understanding world. You’ll find our offices and schools located in some of the world’s greatest cities, and filled with smart, driven people (over 50,000 of us) who push each other to be better every day. But it’s what we do together
- building greater understanding, breaking down barriers, and creating a better world
- that makes all the difference. Founded in 1965 in Sweden, EF (Education First) is a global association of education companies that share a common mission of opening the world through education.
