Your RoleAs a Technical Operations Planner at our Zurich site, you will play a key role in supporting the efficiency and reliability of our operations through data-driven analysis, structured documentation, and governance. Your main focus will be on managing document control systems, ensuring version accuracy, workflow consistency, and audit readiness. By monitoring operational data and dashboards, you will provide insights that highlight trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement, enabling informed decision-making across teams.In addition, you will contribute to the development and optimization of processes, support automation initiatives, and drive continuous improvement projects that enhance compliance with quality, environmental, and health & safety standards. Acting as a link between different departments and external stakeholders, you will help maintain the integrity of our operational framework while enabling long-term excellence.Your profileBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, IT, or a related technical field (Master's degree preferred)3–5 years of experience in coordination, document management, or planning roles in a technical environment (data center experience is a plus)Solid technical understanding of electrical and/or mechanical systemsSkilled in project planning, scheduling, reporting, and use of KPIsProficiency in databases, reporting and analysis tools (Power BI knowledge is an advantage), and MS Office applicationsFamiliarity with ITIL, asset management, and compliance frameworksFluent in English (spoken and written); German is a strong advantageA bit about usDigital Realty brings companies and data together by delivering the full spectrum of data center, colocation and interconnection solutions.
