Our client, based in Fribourg, is looking for a Communications Officer, reporting to the Head of Comms & PR. Please note that this a an 100% onsite role in Fribourg; Switzerland.TasksDevelop, write and edit communications materials, including press releases, blog posts and social media contentPromote communications materials through appropriate social channelsTrack analytics and create reports detailing successes and failures of communications campaignsEnsure that all communications and marketing material aligns with brand standardsWork with communications team members to conceptualize and implement communications strategies and campaignsRespond to media inquiries and perform media outreach to achieve brand placement in publicationsDevelop escalation protocols for managing communication crises, should they ariseRequirements3+ years prior experience in a communications or marketing roleUnderstand the best practices of main social media channelsMust possess exceptional writing skills and be able to compose engaging and accurate contentStrong communicator who works well independently and with a teamSuperior time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneouslyUnderstanding of communications, public relations and marketing best practicesAbility to think strategically and identify ways to improve communication effortsMust be resourceful and take initiative even when given minimal directionFluent in French and English is a mustBenefitsA position based at the head office in SwitzerlandYou will be in direct contact with the group's managers and shareholdersAn organization offering an exciting and unconventional work environmentDiversified field missions abroadThis role is open to Swiss/EU/EFTA citizens or people with a valid and transferable Swiss work permit only.
