We look forward to hearing from youPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for assembly of opto-mechanical and electro-mechanical components for our laser systems, detailed production recording and the quality inspection and measurement of produced sub-assemblies. Responsible for inventory in the production line. Responsible for fault finding, generating internal material quality requests, and making improvements to maximise efficiencies. Identifies issues and tests improvements. Gives feedback to product engineers to ensure that design is manufacturable. Maintains up to date skills and training associates with the job. Responsible for in house product servicing. Maintains and improved product documentation. Calibrates the performance of production equipment. KEY INTERACTIONSClosed collaboration within Production team, interfacing with Quality and Manufacturing department.LEADERSHIP EXPECTATIONSContributes within the team. Plans work allocation. Manages own goals, objectives and KPIs. Manages self within policy and monitors policy. Works with Cell and sets expectations with colleagues. Manages own competencies and job requirements. Works collaboratively at all times.QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREDRelevant degree qualification desirable ie Technical education is a plus.SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREDOrganised, structured and methodical. Hands on analytical and target orientatedManual work experience with high-tech components and equipmentTechnical experience in optics, photonics, or equivalent is a plusFamiliar with basic electrical and optical measurementsExperience in a clean room environment is a plusExperience with Quality Management systems is a plusAttention to detail and commitment to deliver high quality productsEXPERIENCE REQUIREDAt least two years of experience in the photonics industry. Experience with engineering documentation; bill of materials, work instructions, and assembly process documentation.
