As Part-Time Business Development Advisor Integrated Photonics you drive adoption of Photonics technologies across Sensors, Telecom, Quantum, or Space applications.Job DescriptionYou will research prospective accounts for our Clients in targeted markets, generate, pursue leads and follow through to a successful qualification. This is a fully remote position in a very flexible environment.As part of sparksense business development team, you will:Gain rapid understanding of Client solution and positioningIdentify attractive target segments, companies and contactsBuild targeted leads listing aligned with go-to-market strategyReach out outbound leads through calls, emails & LinkedinWork with Startup Management team to hand-over leadsCapture leads account information in our CRM systemProvide feedback on product features, value positioning, etc...Work on special projects as needs ariseQualificationsCurrently pursuing Master or PhD in a relevant discipline such as Photonics, Electronics or Physics.Good understanding of the fundamentals of optics, experience with photonics integrated chips, integrated micro-optics or fibre optic technology is desiredHands-on experience with the design and/or simulation of components for PICs or full PICsStrong communication skills and ability to communicate information, whether technical or non-technical to customers, in a clear and concise mannerExcellent organizational skills, executing priorities, goal setting in a fast-paced environmentEager to learn, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independentlyFluent English required, French, German or Italian is a clear advantageFamiliarity with programming languages is a plusFamiliarity with commercial software for photonics component design e.g. Lumerical is a plusAdditional InformationPlease provide your complete application, including CV and any further relevant documentation which can support your application.Start date: as agreed for a min 6-month periodPaid internship
