By also leading our business development activities, you`ll act as the key link between engineering, R&D, design, marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless execution and go-to-market strategies. You'll collaborate closely with our Chief Sales Officer and leadership team, turning Trafag into a go-to brand for pressure, temperature, and gas density sensors globally. And as we scale, your work will also elevate our regional Trafag Sales Companies. What You'll Do Define, implement and lead the global product management as well as business development strategiesLead and develop the product management team (today 3 direct in Bubikon, 3 indirect worldwide) with vision and enthusiasmDefine the product vision, strategy, and comprehensive roadmap for the entire product portfolio with a focus on digital product and solution innovationConduct in-depth market research, identifying emerging trends, analyzing competitor positioning, and gathering customer needsOverlook the entire product development process from concept, definition of technical specifications, to market launch and phase-outDefine and monitor key performance indicators, managing profitability, and creating business cases and ROI analyses for new initiativesCommunicate product strategy and performance to internal stakeholders, executive management and key customersReport directly to the Chief Sales Officer What You Bring University degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences or a related technical field, MBA is a plusMinimum of 6+ years in product management and/or development, with significant leadership experienceStrong technical knowledge of sensor technologies (e.g., temperature, humidity, pressure, motion, air quality, flow, etc.) and relevant industry applications (e.g., industrial, automotive, consumer).Experience in digital product development and IoT ecosystems, data-driven solutions is a plusProven leadership, problem-solving, project management, and strong analytical skillsStrong communication and leadership skills combined with strategic thinking and hands-on executionFluency in both English and German What you can look forward to A motivated team and space to truly make an impact Tons of freedom and flexibility in how you run your product managment show – supported by flexible working models, including home office.
